On what planet does the Wig think anyone believes his "I was just offered my dream job" bullshit story.

Unless there is someone willing to pay this guy 100 mil a year to suck Ralph's cock...

    More tiresome bullshit.

It's not that hard to believe. People overpay for talent in every single industry.

That being said, god I hope he retires this time around.

"Robin, I recently turned down the lead in a film with an Oscar winning Director opposite an A-list female star. It wouldve taken me away from my wife and my job here."

I strictly listen to old shows now and I recently heard him use that same exact line in 2004 before he announced the move to Sirius.

It was supposed to be a "premium" channel that you had to pay extra for. That would have been a disaster.

I really hope Sirius lowballs him and he walks away. Then we get to see if he really was offered anything...which face it, we all know he hasn't been.

Isn't hosting a game show his dream job? I can easily see somebody offering him that opportunity

Every month that goes by, Stern's negotiating power gets weaker and weaker. He is not negotiating with his boy Mel anymore. Liberty Media's CEo Greg Maffei is calling the shots.

His tactics have worked in the past and he's an old man. Zero reason to think he'd change his negotiating methods now.

If Howard was offered his dream job, why didn't he take it? He already said earlier that if he received a "compelling" offer he'd accept it right away instead of waiting. The more he claims it's not a negotiating tactic the more you know that's EXACTLY what it is. They constantly play old clips on H101 where Wiggy is blabbering about all the great offers he's getting and all the big projects he has in the works, and not a single one ever materialized. They include a movie he was going to direct (and already had the finished script for), a TV show that was set to begin filming in a few weeks, and a talent show on a major network where he had complete control and could choose to be the only judge or be on a panel he selected. In reality, the only job he's been offered in the last 10 years is AGT and that's why he's on that pigfuck of a show.

There's really no reason for anyone to offer Howard a game show hosting job either. AGT has proven he's not a ratings draw and he's near the top of every poll on the most disliked person in America. Why would anyone pay the ridiculous salary he would demand and put up with an obnoxious cry-baby who has a well-publicized penchant for filing frivolous lawsuits?

Also in July 2009 (nearly a year and a half before his first contract was up) when he talked on the air about a meeting he had with some "internet people" about some amazing new broadcasting technology that was about to hit. He went on and on about how "talent" won't need a company behind them anymore to broadcast his show with almost no overhead costs to millions of subscribers (podcasts?).

Robin, they've decided to start a daytime version of deal or no deal, and they asked me to hold one of the suitcases. That's just an amazing opportunity and Don is in negotiation right now, because it's everything I've dreamed of Robin....Robin?
