Why is today's 101 content what I heard last night? I also notice what I hear during the weekends I hear the next week!? How does that make sense??

Basically, it's all because they're incredibly lazy. During the week, the new Sternthology for the day doesn't start until 5:00 PM so they play the one from the previous day until then. On weekends they have a separate Weekend Sterntholgy that plays in a continuous loop for 2 days. Apparently it's too much to expect them to prepare more than a couple of hours of tape a day. Completely unacceptable, especially since there's no other programming on H101.

It's lazier than that. Weekend Sternthologys are just further repeats of old daily Sternthologys.

Very true, and they repeat segments way too soon. I've heard the clip of Big Foot's first appearance on 3 different episodes of Sternthology recently.

Overnights are even worse. There are multiple hiccups where a segment will get cut off in the middle and restart from the beginning or repeat itself back to back. There was one interview a couple of weeks ago that got played 3 times consecutively. Stuff like that rarely (if ever) happens on other Sirius channels, on Howard's channels it's a regular occurrence.

Also, a lot of old stuff is "off limits" for various reasons discussed here.

Which themselves are just repackaged repeats of old Stern shows.

Sternthology is the only thing I listen to on Howard's channels nowadays. Aside from the ridiculous repetitiveness I switch the channel whenever the year is 2010 and forward. They seem to air more recent crap mixed in sternthology than ever before.

You ain't kidding, lazy. On the Mammary Lane that aired during Memorial Day week, they only offered fresh content Monday-Wednesday. On Thursday and Friday they just reordered all the stuff they aired the previous three days. I don't really listen to the radio in the afternoon. I'd rather they dispense with Sternthology and focus on the vacation shows.
