They are playing a Sternthology from 2005 where Howard starts berating Bababooey for fucking toothpicks. The segment starts with them talking about Mike Myers having a clause in his contract at the Academy Awards that he had to have a pretaped intro and Chris Rock couldn't make a joke about him. Robin then says "Who is Mike Myers that he cannot be goofed on?":rolleyes:

I didn't even bother to listen today. Heard a promo for it this AM and all the segments they mentioned have been played within the last month. It's been horrible all summer, they just keep playing the same few clips over and over.

I'll go out on a limb here and guess that most of the old tapes are so un-PC that after they scrub and edit them there's nothing left to play.

    Viva the Revolution.

They're also just fucking lazy. They've been re-using clips from the Baba Booey Anniversary and History of Howard specials for Sterthology all summer. I've heard several of them at least 6 times in the last couple months.

I did enjoy some of the eric the midget stuff they played last week. Artie was hilarious commenting about fucking the real doll of Eric while he was in studio.

They probably shit-canned the Tapes Team months ago and just didn't tell anyone. I noticed the lead guy (David Height) isn't in the staff fantasy football league this year although he was in the past. Maybe he and all or most of the other guys are "around".

Bombed was the wrong word. He did VERY well with waynes world, shrek, and the austin powers franchise. But the cat in the hat love guru really kinda killed his career. Last big thing I heard about him was the studio got the green light to do an austin power 4.

I actually like the Sternthology format, just play a clip from a past show then move on to something else instead of playing old shows as a whole with all of the dated news discussions and references. Of course in Stern fashion, it is rife with repetttion and laziness, they'll play the same stuff for a week straight. I'm assuming the tapes team had caught up to the PC era at this point and are no longer needed, so now Brent Hadley just pulls the clips people supposedly "request".
