The old shows are better but they play the same fifty clips over and over
Howard made such a production about his tapes when he left radio and how much great stuff there is. Yet he p,as the same stuff all the time, hardly any Jackie stuff.

The regular show sucks but sternology is getting to be a close second with all the replays. And why pay replays of the replay show. The show sucks

I will always choose 101 over 100 when Sternthology is on. Once in a while I'll catch a replay of the wrap up show on 101 and want to kill myself

I will give them this much: Every once in a blue moon, somebody will sneak a really good Stern deep cut in there.

I think it's because he's hired idiots to run that segment. They don't know WTF they're doing but also Sternthology is supposed to be connected somehow to the live show. So when you have the same 20 guests on all the time Sternthology is going to suck.

If Howard is really not interested in his show anymore and he wants free labor, just have the fans call in and choose the clips like he does with that other segment he does, I forget the name, it might even be part of Sternthology.

Fuck it, let the fans write the show.

I resisted canceling for a long time because Sternthology was still worth listening to even though the live show has sucked for years. In December I finally gave up because their laziness has ruined that too. The same clips were being played over and over, sometimes they didn't even wait a week before repeating a segment. Also whenever they did a vacation week "special" on H100 they used those clips for Sternthology too, so the same stuff was being played on both channels. With all those thousands of hours of tape, there's no excuse for playing the same 2-hour episode of Sternthology in a continuous loop all day.

I look forward to old shows. I barely listen to the new shows as they are fucking terrible

Sirius just paid him another shitload of money for a new contract and access to his archives. Does that mean Sirius will continue to rehash the same clips for the next 12 years? I wonder if Sirius has free reign to play anything they want or if they are restricted to playing the tired old whitewashed clips. I can't even imagine Sirius still being around in 12 years.
