He lied about escaping the Towers on 9/11. Seems a little overblown like him being a heroin addict and cheating on his wife wouldn't be as bad. Another episode of the Psychological Actors Studio
Shit interview, I guess Howard wants to be the destination to apologize for something for very obscure people. He claimed that he didn't want to be confrontational. Do you still know how to make good radio, Howard?
A nobody actor on a show nobody watches apologizes on a satellite radio show nobody listens to. Now there's news!
I only heard the last ten minutes of the interview. Howard turned the guy into a victim who was forced to continue a lie he never wanted to tell, but couldn't get out of. Going on how his family and friends are supporting him in this tragedy and how he basically has PTSD from this incident. Seriously, the guy lied about being involved in what was the greatest tragedy this country has ever had. No one forced him to lie and he could have owned up to the truth long before he did. Howard let this guy turn himself into some kind of martyr. This is the same exact type of interview that Leno would have done in the past and Howard would rake Leno over the coals for. This is no different than when Leno threw softball pitches at Kanye West about his mother after he ran up on stage during Taylor Swift won an MTV Award and said Beyonce should have won it. Shameful.
Howard wants to be the easy soft interview now... he wants an interview show someplace... desperately Guarantee the "Stern Show" is gone To be replaced by the Stern Interview .... podcast Willy
Exactly, great post. It'd be like a guy in his 60s....I don't know....say, claiming he was in Vietnam on a radio show and spending hours making up scenarios with him fighting in a horrific time in American history that caused millions of Americans so much PTSD.
On top of being an idiot considering Merrill Lynch did not have any offices at the WTC he got his poor wife to go along with it too.
BTW, the funniest part of the interview (at from the part I heard) is that this guy attacked people who were giving him crap on the Internet who have no direct connection to 9/11 as if they did something wrong. It was like "Sure I told a lie, but the real villains in all of this is the guy in Iowa sending me nasty tweets about lying. When are people going to start attacking that guy?"
LOL! Sorry, I think I might be in trouble for minimizing the single most devestating terrorist attack in WORLD history. Maybe I should go on the Stern Show and act like a victim for an hour to apologize for my misdeed.
Haven't heard the interview yet but leading up to it Howard mentioned they were going to talk to the guy who "lied about being in the towers" on 9/11. Robin, in her authoritarian know-it-all voice, interjected, "Yes, the TWIN towers!". Honestly, could she be any more useless?
Who even cares about this guy? He's a big nothing, if he hadn't been exposed for lying about 9/11 most of the world would never have heard of him. Howard must be really desperate to get attention for himself after his departure from AGT was largely ignored.
