He sure is lucky, too bad his tax bill and sales commission ate all the profit.
He went from making 30k to paying 30k in property taxes.

One house pays $31,000 per year in property taxes. That's just insane.

How many times would the police and fire department need to come to your home to justify a bill that large?

True. Newer home, smaller lots. From the aerial picture, the lot looks small.

Prop 13 is based on the price of the home and goes up from there. It's like 1.25% of the purchase price and goes up every year from there.

Never, it is that much so california can take care of the Illegals, the nig nogs and all the other low lifes that infest the state.
I bet 30,000 of the goes towards social programs for the so called disadvantaged.

Considering when he purchased it, he's very lucky. I don't understand why people who know they are marginally talented buy homes that expensive, even if they are currently making good money. His mortgage, insurance, and taxes would have been around $175,000/year.

Even if he did make $1M, he'd have only about $500,000/year after paying an agent/manager, federal, state, and local income and other taxes. 35% of his income blown on a big 6,000 ft house, not to mention the $1200/mo utilities bills.

With regular living expenses added on, he was probably spending all but about $200,000/year for the past 5 years. So maybe he saved $1M during that period. And that includes the 2008 market bust so you know Mr. Stock picker took a bath and is probably only now back to even. $1M divided by 2 = $500,000.

The guy has $500,000 left if he's lucky, if he continued at the large salary (unlikely), and if they only gave his wife half the assets. Plus whatever he might have managed to save before he purchased the house. What a waste.

    Spot on with the analysis.

After all of the turmoil and big paychecks, what's he have left? Very little, if anything.

This is probably true in most areas. The people who use the public services the least, always pay more; and the recipient class uses all public services the most and pays the least; and they always want more.

California sure has its share of illegals, etc.

Yea, those would be the people the rich fucks attract to California like flies to rotting meat because they pay them under the table to mow their lawns, clean their houses, take care of their spawn, and work for their "small businesses".....

"you are wrong, John is not paying his 'fair share'. Does he realize how many lazy niggas there are in this country? My goal is to eliminate the rich and make everyone poor and miserable"

quit with that nonsense talking point.
the fact of the matter is, most rich don't pay their fair share. and who that impacts the most, is the rich and middle class who pay more than their fair share.

if you and i both make 1 million a year. and you pay 0 and i pay 390000, clearly thats not fair.
    we both should pay 195000

i think everyones taxes could be cut in half, if everyone paid their fair share

John really is a business wheeler-dealer. He's good at making money through business ventures and no one ever took him seriously. But as he said on a replay the other day, he had to figure out how to make more money since Howard wasn't paying him.
