Had two nectaries today. Will have some white peaches I bought when they are riper. And I'm waiting for the Rainier cherries. I've already bought boxes full of Bings. Mmmmmm.

"If you love California cherries, you’d better get 'em while they’ve got 'em. After a warm winter that didn’t give trees the dormant rest that they need, this year’s harvest looks like it will be very short and extremely light. Fortunately, the quality is generally good, so what cherries you can find will probably be tasty, if pricey.":(

As a kid I sold cherries by the flatt on the street corner.nowadays mezicans do this job anyhoo I at a grip of cherries and to this day they do not appeal to me.

Don't mind me I'm just doing a side by side comparison of the L vs. D thing.

Olange just doesn't sound right in my head for some reason.

I eat watermelon almost every day in the summer. I switch up to cantaloupe once in a while. The cantaloupes aren't as good here. I love peaches but for some reason, the peaches we get are so unripe, you set them out to ripen and they go from unripe straight to mushy. The strawberries we get aren't very good either.

Peaches, nectarines, plums. All those stone fruits.

I bought some "Peacharines" the other day. :rolleye: They were an arm and a leg. $4 for two of them. And I didn't think much of them. They never got soft and juicy, they stayed kind of hard. And I thought they had less flavor than a regular peach. :grr:

I have a big bowl of cherries, I grab a handful every time I'm standing in the kitchen. :pig:
