From a Ticketmaster spam I just got: "1079 ticket listings offered from $3988 to $13804 each."

Who would pay that much for a single ticket to see any NFL game????

Pretty amazed, really. That's a buttload of cash. Does that come with a free hot dog and a Coke?

For the low-end price, I could get an 75in 4K TV from Costco, a nice couch, and have the Super Bowl catered at home.

This possibly being manning's last game and the fact that its a milestone SB, 50, make the prices that much more outrageous.

It's Super Bowl 50, it's at a location with a large concentration of wealth. Prices might dip to $3300 but I doubt much lower. Best chance of getting a Super Bowl Ticket at a reasonable price will be Super Bowl 52 in Minnesota providing the weather is horrendous in the week leading up to game. The new stadium is enclosed but if weather is bad enough it might scare some people off. By reasonable I mean tickets priced around $2500 for nosebleed seats.

As if they don't fuck the regular fans of either team who go to home games enough during the regular season.
4K for each nosebleed ticket plus air fare, hotel and beer ?
    Fuck you !
It's nothing but a corporate tax write off bullshit festival.

10 day forecast shows sun on Friday. I so hope it pours. Come on El NiƱo.

If not I hope it's hot and Milpitas is stinking, wafting it's stench over to the stadium.

I paid $500 for a World Series game and I regretted doing so even though I sat behind home plate. Frankly, I prefer to sit home and watch sports. I like the commentators and the replays.

I wouldn't pay $1 to see ANY professional or college sports team play. I go to a superbowl party, but don't watch the game. I do like to nosh! I even ignore the 1/2 time show. WGAS, WGAF?
