Howard was going on about how podcasts are for losers and I couldn't take one more second so I turned him off and listened to Gilbert's podcast.

Stern has lost his humanity. A less connected person to his audience I don't think there has ever been!

In the meantime most people, celebrities, comedians etc go the podcast route because it gets rid of P.Ds and other people that get in the way of content. Gunky couldn't care because he's an evolved queen who plays it safe on radio now.

And then Horatio Sanz (who has his own podcast) comes on the wrap-up show and says he is a 'loser' per Stern.

Speaking of Gilbert's podcast, Gary Busey was rather lucid during his interview. I thought his brain was more scrambled than that.

I think its because most podcast are free, stern can see that people wont pay for phoned in crap when much better shows are available for free or a small subscription

Let's also not forget that the Sirius xm merger destroyed the opportunity for many broadcasters when they consolidated everything and started paying slave wages to everyone but stern. And stern who was the biggest cheerleader for the merger had much to do with it. Let's not forget when he said daily that he had no economic reason to push the merger only then to find out he thought the xm subscribers brought over meant he would make an additional 200,000,000 dollars.

It just shows how out of touch he is. Podcasts are incredible.

Which is ironic considering Wiggy is on a glorified podcast himself with the limited and closed circuit nature of satellite. Though technically he's closer to cable access.

He doesnt want to admit he's not good enough for regular radio anymore, he'd be a joke.
