Not surprised since it's a wrap up of a best-best (repeated repeat) tapes team re-visit. Gunga Din and Prader Willie have been tapes team re-airs already. But then that's not surprising at camp phone-it-in-are-we-really-live

I was surprised that calls about Artie were fielded and Howard's picket-fence of a grill were discussed. John Hein handled them like a DC lobbyist talking to a cop w a senator's dead hooker in the trunk. Deflect, misdirect, throw in a yeah-no and on to the next topic.

So they can wrap up a repeat of a repeated clip show but there's simply no time for Back Office Radio?

Did you not see the poll that showed almost everyone in here doesn't have SiriusXM anymore and of the people who still do maybe 2 of them still listen? This thread is more pointless than trying to get legal advice from Mlaw.

The first segment was all about how brilliant Artie was and Howard still is, so I skipped it.

Luckily they then were grilling Scott about his sexual history, so that saved it.

It might all be pre-recorded though. Maybe Sal & Richard have a bank of Hein statements like "they really knocked it out of the park that day" or "lookin' for BJ number 81 from some boy scouts up in here"

Hysterical when Artie was losing it talking about the kid who had pads in her room going berserk when hearing the ice cream man. I got a new car so Sirius is free for a year.

I like Sirius for more than Stern. If all you have it for is for Stern than you are missing out on a lot. I hate Hein with a passion but I was listening to some of the WUS at lunch and I did hear him say something completely truthful and couldn't believe it. A caller had called in about Howard being a hypocrite (I think it was about diets or something) and Heins' response was "Howard's the boss". I think that pretty much sums up how it is over at the H100 studios.

I wonder if Jason/Will just resent the shit out of Hein and Booey or if they just don't care anymore. Their show was 10,000x better than wrapped up wrap up shows about previous wrap up shows. They actually achieved the impossible and made Hein show some emotion once.

Artie's friend asked him to perform at a benefit for children. Turned out it was for children with Prader-Willi syndrome, the one that makes you unable to stop eating. Artie's telling of the story was hilarious, and he couldn't stop laughing. It was one of the best Artie bits I've heard--and was that Artie's first day as a regular?
