I guess there's nothing left to say. I've heard the "professional movie reviewers" will get their chance to see it starting this Monday. As long as they say it makes you forget about the prequels (except maybe Revenge Of The Sith), it's going to be a winner.

I think a $200-225 million opening weekend is a no-brainer. If you're more than just a casual fan, you'll be seeing it at least twice in the first three days. I'm so pumped up for this, next Thursday at 10:30PM cannot come fast enough. I'm 45 years old and acting like a kid on Christmas morning.

There was another International trailer that debuted recently. There are some new scenes, nothing that spoils the film, though.

I'm star warsed out to be honest. Granted i am not a mega super fan but i am tired of seeing star wars on every other ad. I mean start wars selling a full size pick up truck one minute then cover girl make up the next is over kill. But hey i get it, it's a fucking license to print money.

I'll be waiting a few weeks to see it.

I'm seeing it at 6am next Saturday. I'm sure the internet will have completely spoiled it by then..

Regarding the prequels, I've kinda turned the corner on The Phantom Menace. It's still a giant piece of shit, but I think it's actually the best of the prequels - mainly because it relies least on retroactive nostalgia.

The prequels weren't as bad as people made them out to be watching all 6 movies and prequels compliment the older movies very well.

Sorry - completely disagree - those movies were unwatchable for two reasons. The acting was awful - to the point of completely miscasting it - and did they really need the Force to do EVERYTHING? There was a scene where Liam Neeson uses it to close the door.

The amount of promotion this movie is getting worries me. I've never seen a movie with this much promotion actually be good.

Same here - I think most of the people saw the first 3 as kids and expected more as adults with the following films. And God help the director if this one isn't good - I've never seen such hype for a film to be good just from the trailer.

The movies would be better if the Empire actually wins for once.

I really don't care one way or another, but I have a feeling that the movie will not live up to the hype. The fanatical fans of the franchise will be expecting the movie to deliver big time, and will probably dissect every little detail. Plus J.J. Abrams' track record is hit or miss. It will definitely make a shit ton of money, but I'm sure there will be plenty of criticism.

I'm talking opening weekend. $200-225 million.

For it's entire theatrical run, it will do at least $800 million in the U.S. It will break the record set by Avatar within it's first three weeks

My prediction it will be the highest grossing film of all time. And it will just be okay nothing great. But the geeks will think its amazing. Fuck these retards still try to defend those last 3 shitty Star Wars films.
