Love these guys. They just keep giving and giving while the other guys charge for everything.

With their plan that starts at 50 bucks, you get:
    -free tethering ($20 at Verizon)
    -free rollover
-streaming music doesn't count against your data
-NEW! they just doubled the data amount in each plan (base plan from 1 to 2)
-NEW! STREAMING VIDEO DOESN'T COUNT AGAINST YOUR DATA

    http://www.t-mobile.com/offer/binge-on-streaming-video.html

Plus, if you upgrade with $10 more per month, you get some good perks for travelers:
-goes from 2 gig to 6 gig per/mo data
    -FREE international texting
-FREE international data roaming (my buddy was surfing the internet for free on his phone in Bahrain!)
-FREE international wifi calling back to any phone in the US (built into the UI)
-if you don't have wifi, calls back to the US are just 20 cents per minute.

With this kind of setup, you could almost get rid of your hard wired internet plan if you don't normally download massive files. If you do, just go to a Starbucks once in a while or something.

I had them for a few years. Coverage sucked. I paid $200 to get away from them and it was worth it.

I recently switched to T-Mobile for their unlimited data (fuck Verizon).

Right after I switched they were found to have had a huge data breech from Experian, who performs all their credit work.

    Basically the CEO said "oops".

I want one of those "WiFi First" phones like Republic Wireless or Scratch Wireless. ATT is raping me to the tune of $130 a month for three iPhones we rarely use as phones.

Canada's mafia extortionate mobile companies suck ass. Telus, Bell, Fido, Rogers, they're all shit. I'd never have a cell phone if I lived in Canada.

The streaming video is going to be a big deal for my parents. They live out in the boonies and can't get broadband the normal way, so I bought them a T-Mobile hotspot (the LTE signal is strong out there for some reason). They haven't been able to enjoy Netflix because of the data cap, so this + a Chromecast will be great for them. Until T-Mobile decides they're giving too much away.

And yeah, their cell coverage is typically pretty shitty. No clue why it's so strong out in the country where they live.

As far as the cell coverage, they have been working furiously to improve it. My place used to have weak roaming data. Then, all of a sudden my signal went to full bars of 4g LTE. They just upgraded a local tower and I damn near cried from happiness.

But, if you live in a house with poor coverage, the wifi calling works seamlessly. If you live in a wide area with poor coverage, T Mo probably isn't for you. (But it may be soon).

I travel for a living and, while sometimes the signal is weak, it's rare that I don't have coverage at all (can't remember the last time).

T-Mobile's headquarters is 20 minutes down the road from me, and even here the coverage sucks donkey balls. It should be free because it's a shit product.

I'm switching to Wind Mobile once my contract with Bell is up. Unlimited everything, and their coverage is expanding. As I live in T.O., coverage won't be an issue. Fuck the big 3!

Must have changed it due to pressure from competition.

All the other carriers are playing catch up on features while T Mo plays catch up on coverage.

Even though Verizon has widespread coverage, in Houston I was getting shit throughput. Less than 1 mbps with full signal. At the same , T Mo was clocking 30!!!! I know because I would do a speed test with my friend and those were the results repeated multiple , on different , from different locations. Got fed up with it and switched.

So, as with everything, your mileage may vary.

This is true and the service actually works. Still hate them, but they do have the best service available.

Never have a problem with my T-Mobile. Had nothing but problems with Sprint and Verizon though.
