Stern Show Talk radio fans: Any good Stern alternatives besides Jay Thomas?

    As a talk radio fan I'm looking for recommendations for any decent talk radio shows to fill in the gap now that I don't listen to about 95% of The Stern Show. I (usually) like Jay Thomas, but every time I try other talk shows on SiriusXM I find myself tuning out due to boredom. Traditional terrestrial hosts like Limbaugh and Savage seem as burned out and predictable as Stern. Any good talk show suggestions, on SiriusXM or elsewhere? Thanks!

    I've started to listen to a lot of the old O/A stuff, very funny wish I started listening sooner. The O/J is okay, but the same guests get annoying and its an ass kissing show.

    Not that I know of, and Jay's show is down to 2 hours and 1.5 of that is politics till the election is over. Most people really are bad at talk radio. Apparently it's harder than it seems.

    If you're looking for something strictly comedy wise, I'd suggest exploring podcasts.

    Try podcasts. Sirius has such lacking content for a business that should offer so much more.

    Try podcasts of things like history and philosophy, or even, dare I say it, economics. You can learn a lot that, over time, pays off in the real world.

    Yeah I would try checking out podcasts. There is a lot of variety out there.

    The "John & Leah Show" is the best weekend news/opinion radio talk show in the country. It features John Ziegler and Leah Brandon who first worked together at KFI radio in Los Angeles in 2004. The "John & Leah Show" began locally in Los Angeles in late 2014 and is now syndicated nationally in many major markets. It airs Sunday evenings from 7-10pm Pacific time.

    At the end of Jay's show Friday, Jay said " I know you have a multiple choices for repeats here on these channels, thanks for choosing us"

    I thought that was pretty ballsy, goofing on Stern on his channels, talking about the repeat fest that it is

    To answer your original question, Jason Ellis is on at 10 am.
