aka Robin's an instigating motherfucker.
Oh my god I couldn't get through the first one. Howard is queen of passive-aggressivity, and god bless fred for showing some compassion. Artie's feelings were hurt, and Howard manages to make *himself* the victim of Artie's ingratitude. And has Robin *ever* been more annoying? Jesus this was hard to listen to.
"Not My Bro"
14 minutes in (that ends up being 1 hour and 15 minutes)...
Howard: "I don't want to spend all morning on this..."
Artie: "Really? Jesus..."
Howard can't admit to being wrong so he has to keep spinning things and making excuses (with heavy lifting from Robin).
Artie: "What if I strolled in a girl who's into geeky looking, pelican fucking looking guys... she's got a fetish, she's into pelicans."
I'm sure Artie appreciates your name. And you know he's heard about you because Wiggy alerted the media that he was going to ruin your life.
One of Artie's best lines ever
I love how Howard equates "friendship" with working with someone for 5 hours a day. And as Artie keeps fighting back at his comment, Howard starts whittling it down to being "friendly"... and then a "teammate"... and then a "bro".
Also funny how none of Howard's filibustering, trying to kill the argument quickly by talking over Artie and getting louder, doesn't phase Artie.
Still remember how annoyed I was with Howard for not just admitting that he was being a ballbuster, instead pretending he thought he was doing Artie a "favor" with that bit.
And I think Artie was holding back there. Artie on full speed and power would obliterate Wiggy. Artie just knew ( and knows today ) that he needed to censor himself quite a bit if he wanted to keep his job.
Everyone can be humiliated for the show except Wiggy and Beef.
Even idiots like Ronnie The Limo Driver could obliterate Wiggy because he knows things about him and could destroy him within 10 seconds. But he too wants to keep his job so he keeps his mouth shut and takes the abuse. Just like Gary the Gay Gene.
I remember there was video of the fight. Great stuff.
Artie needed to get high and was extremely agitated that day.
Howard was definitely intimidated by Artie, he never really busted his chops like the rest of them.
I think he was caught off guard by this fight.
You aint my bro.
And Artie wonders why the WIG will not have him back. I guess he should have said u r my bro.
I thought of this clip when Howard went on about Imus picking his wife in a contest...the exact thing Artie was upset about
I feel the same way listening to this that I do when I listen to the "throwing things" incidents. The one with Sal in particular. Sal started going right back to schtick and phoniness, saying he would watch "Beer League" at home, when Artie threw the CD at him. Artie getting physical overshadowed that Sal was being a grade-A douche.
