CRANSTON, RI—A health and physical education teacher at Bain Middle School in Cranston was arrested for multiple charges over the weekend, including assault, and allegedly offered cops a sexual favor in return for being released. Dawn M. Williams Davies, 43, of 87 Ashburton Drive, Cranston, was arrested over the weekend for allegedly punching and scratching another woman on the dance floor at Kon Asian Bistro in East Greenwich. Police said Williams showed signs of being intoxicated and while en route to headquarters, according to a police report, she said multiple times "I will suck your [expletive] if you let me go." Police also said Williams was belligerent and uncooperative with police who responded to the restaurant shortly after midnight after the victim called 911 with a swollen lip and scratches on her face and chest. According to the report, the victim told police that while she was dancing on the dance floor Williams was "stepping, elbowing and falling into her." A verbal argument apparently ensued. Williams then allegedly started scratching the victim before striking her with closest fists in the upper lip and twice in the forehead. When police arrived, Williams allegedly resisted arrest by "turning around, kicking, screaming and refusing to place her hands behind her back," according to the report.
