    I'm changing teams

The Tebow era in Denver may be over before it even gets started. The consensus in speaking with a handful of team personnel executives when it comes to one Tim Tebow is this: A trade could happen, but it's becoming increasingly likely the Broncos will keep or cut Tebow because the trade interest is dwindling rapidly. The executives portray the Tebow situation as a complicated one. They believe that while the Broncos are not openly trying to trade Tebow, they say that when teams have recently inquired about him, the Broncos haven't been saying he's off the trading block, either. Again, just to be clear, the Broncos aren't openly shopping Tebow but teams that have asked were told: Make us an offer we can't refuse.

Josh McDaniels was a moron to use a 1st round pick on him.

I could have understood a 5/6/7th round on him. If he doesn't pan out, it's not a big loss. By using a first round pick, they had to give him a bigger contract and instead of drafting for need, they drafted a project.

I dunno why they don't try him at another position. At least try to minimize the loss. :dontknow:

I guess they don't do that regularly in football. Happens quite a bit in the NBA.

Orton is in the last year of his contract? At worse case, Tebow rides the bench this year and next year the Broncos decide to ride him out, for the good or the bad. The big question is: Will the fans and ownership be patient enough with him? It's obvious there will be growing pains.

i think Arena Football is more suited for Tebow. he wouldn't last in the CFL.

But fans want a player to start and after a couple of bad starts, they start booing and asking for a trade. If they want him to start, better be very patient. Pro teams can't tell their fans "Pay top dollar to see a team that won't make the playoffs this year BUT will probably be better in the long run". I live in a hockey market, they will never go with young players and say to the fans "It's gonna be tough but in 2-3-4 years we'll have a great team", instead they are a mid-table team and never do well.
