Anyone have these where you live ?

There was one in my town for about 2 months in front of city hall. God damn eye sore, every person there has never worked a day in their life and just leeches off the system.

Portland lets people literally camp on the city sidewalks now. Downtown is a shanty town it sucks.
If I camped out they would fine the shit out of me but literally homeless people can camp on main street

That's crazy. I'd flip if they put one up so close.

BTW, I have to ask, what prompted this thread? What happened to you happened 2 months ago. Why did you post this now?

Tonight on cable I watched Scarface so as soon as read your thread title, that exactly where my mind went.

Does Scarface have anything to do with your timing?

    I'm just curious.

Same here. The worst one in BC is in Victoria. The tent city is an eye sore, smells like shit, trash everywhere, and people living near by are getting attacked or dealing with panhandlers daily. I hate their dumb argument "It's public taxpayer property" from people who don't pay their taxes.

"protestors". If they were in the woods I wouldn't care, actually I wish they did live in the woods.

After the collapse of the housing market, seemed like tent cities were popping up all over and were being discussed all the time.

    Those and "FEMA camps".

Dont really hear about em that much anymore.

Wonder why, are they gone or are people just used to em?

Was thinking about posting this 2 mons ago just never got around it. Watching the news tonight the city a few hours away is having major problems with the tent city squatters. The camera crew got attacked/charged at by a "poor" homeless person. 24 hrs earlier a homeowner near by was attacked. Police say they would maybe get 1-2 calls a year around that area, now its daily.

Driving by the tent city in my town I saw one people holding a sign "honk to end homelessness" this guy has never worked a day in his life. Shaved head, ugly beard, tatts, piercings, camo pants, leather jacket. Able to work. Also gotta love the homeless starving people who are pushing 400 pounds.

I'm really sorry you have to deal with a situation like that.

    Be safe.

It sounds like it's something that could implode or explode, or worse..... both, at any time.

If you like camping but not working, just go out in the woods, don't bother anybody.

Nobody's starving that bad. The fat lady that's been posting up by Fred Meyer's has a McDonald's 50 feet behind her. My chick always gives her change and her singles and I crack a joke about what she's going to choose on her 2 for $5 McPick.

Going there in 2 weeks with the family. How bad is it? I love walking around downtown with the wife and kids. Is it all over downtown or just one block or side street?

I drive by at least 20 tents on the side of the freeway. Today the mayor said he's asking for $49 million for the homeless. Translation he's going to take $49 million from people earning a living and give it to last human garbage that don't want to get jobs

Yep. Got them. When Trump is president they will all be made to disappear and will no long be an eye sore.
