$14,000 added to my tax refund...

That and my Gas & Electric Bill went from 100's a month to $30 ever other month...

and SDG&E has to pay me for the surplus electricity my system produces...

    :dancin:

You better hurry becuse if you have a util like SDG&E, they are now trying to close their subsidy programs. Haha. They bet that the weather would be NORMAL and that the solar usage would stay at their predicted levels. They bet wrong.

Ronald Reagan is laughing at you from his grave - stupid, silly person, actually thinking that you can benefit from the billions and billions of kilowatt hours that pour from the sky for free everyday?

    what are you thinking?

    lol

    installation was 'free'
zero out of pocket they paid to upgrade my panel which was sweet
25 year warantee on everything... even if my roof were to leak from a screw they put in
i will pay $28,000 for everything when i am done... but that produces on average 125% of the energy i use a day
i will get a fat credit once a year for the energy i produce.. which will be allot since my house is empty most of the day

Solar City financed the whole thing.... shit i didn't even get a bill for almost 5 months after they were done

and no joke ..... my house during the summer was costing me sometimes $400 + on average per month

So factoring in all discounts and credits you put in $28k out of pocket?

What's bullshit is I pay 17 cents per kilowatt if I need to buy power, like on a really cloudy day and my solar's not keeping up, but when I generate a surplus like on most days the power company only gives me 4 cents and sells it to my neighbors for 17

Just in case any right wingers are missing the point, this is a real-life example of how Obama is investing in our nation's future, as opposed to giving tax credits to rich fucks who don't need them, so that they "will" hire people that they don't need, to meet a demand that doesn't exist.
