Lebron is number one and here is why
He is the only player like Magic Johnson who can literally play and defend all five positions. The other players can not do that. Lebron is a once in 50 year player who can literally do it all and he is incredibly special. I am a die hard Celtic fan, played college basketball and I can tell you Lebron is one of the top 8 players of all time and it isn't close.

On this list I would have hi. Number one because the you could literally build a team by any position around him. The rest of the players you are stuck at that specific position with that player. Not Lebron.

i agree hes top 8 actually

but hes not able to guard centers and Giannis Antetokounmpo and Draymond Green are both closer to being able to cover and play all five, but Dray cant guard pg's quite as well because most nba lead guards are incredibly quick with the ball in their hands. you're mostly right though, but hes not close to Curry or Kawhi at all, Kawhi is probably better overall than even Durant but i just cant do that yet

Westbrook is like Blake Griffin - both blessed with freakish athleticism, and neither is particularly skilled in fundamental basketball, and both play with instinct and their athletic abilities. That said, Westbrook turns it over way too much for my taste and tends to brood when he's playing like shit, and that kind of brooding can be contagious in a locker room.

in the last year westbrook has made a massive leap in polishing his skills, hes not out of control anymore like he was plus his assist/turnover ratio and Assist % has skyrocketed since he had to carry the team without durant and even this year with durant healthy hes been able to IMPROVE on what he did in the second half of last season, which is unbelievable because hes put up multiple trip-dub streaks the likes of which havent been touched since the GOAT 25 years ago. i can see what you mean about attitude but from what everyone says the whole team loves him, hes a great teammate because of that attitude really because he'll fight for you

also, i know you're lovin that Kawhi love haha

Yessir, Kawhi is the shit. That fool impresses every night. He gets it done on both ends of the floor, and at all spots - backcourt (O & D), front court (O & D) and the wings.

i was listening to Jalen & Jacoby earlier and they pointed out that NO PLAYER IN NBA HISTORY(!!!!!!!) has posted a 50/40/90 shooting line in a single season and also won defensive player of the year in their career, kawhi is going to do both this season

Amazing that he came back from a snapped leg and is playing the way he has. You don't hear much out of his mouth, he just performs well bottom line. Made me a fan.

thankfully he plays in this modern era where you can bounce back after something like that

he's a hall of fame caliber player, its just a matter of sustaining a high level of play for the next 6 or 7 years and he'll be a no brainer

i saw that live and it was so devastating...everyone in that team usa scrimmage was just like "fuck basketball" when that happened...a few of them even stopped playing that summer because of it.

I remember it vividly. Coach K got on the mic and just called the thing off. It was the best thing to do IMO. You really want players like him to succeed. Players like LeBron IE:always involved in some kind of drama elicit negative attention. He makes it easy not to root for him.
