I personally couldnt give a fuck about the black keys. They play the most generic music I've ever heard. In my mind tan mom is way more interesting. I can 100% see why howard wouldn't have them on. Sure they could play a few songs but that's not why I listen to radio TALK shows.

Why was the racist a bad piano player?

Because he wouldn't touch the black keys.

Just using the black keys as an example.
I don't give a fuck what "teen mom" has to say.
But I'm sure the Keys would at least have some interesting stories.

Maclemore and Ryan Lewis are Stern fans and Howard didn't think they would be interesting. Yet tan fucking mom three times would interest us. What a tool.

love or hate teen mom, she gave the show a ton of publicity. everybody wrote up her comments.

so stern was right to book her.

i hate teen mom, but I'd even hate a black keys booking even more.

If you're going to get a musician get somebody with a story, like kanye, miley or somebody.

Someone with a story like Kanye or Miley? You're joking right? Macklemore and Ryan Lewis refused to give 90% of what they make to record producers and gambled everything to put out their album themselves. Mack struggles with drug addiction. His story is compelling and interesting and he risked it all and came out on top. Of course Howard wouldn't be interested in interviewing him as he's not a Buchwald client.

this is a case of the chicken or the egg. are people really interested in this story or was the media forcing this story down our throats?

listening to howard and robin being protective of her and making JD the spokesperson for why she is a vile cunt was unbearable . 7 figures from one porn film, and she pretends it was leaked despite all the evidence pointing to the contrary. she went to a porn studio, made a porno with a porn actor and then feints outrage that it got released but because she is a "business woman" and needs to make the most out of a "bad situation", she cashes in

I don't particularly care what the black keys have to say, however; they most certainly deserved to be interviewed over teen mom. they worked hard for their fame , polished their craft and earned their right in the spot light. teen mom just does what most of the planet has tried, fucking .

It was such a poorly done interview. Howard didn't do his research at all. You could tell he had no interest in her at all. Now I don't blame him for not being interested, but then don't interview her. She's incredibly boring and self-involved. She's also a bad mom as evidenced by the show. But Howard knew nothing about that. That's why the argument he made against interviewing the Black Keys made no sense. He's interviewed many people he wasn't interested in (the Kardashian sisters for example). I don't know why he made such a big deal about the Keys.

    2 reasons
    1) he doesn't respect steve brandano.
    2) he likes teen sluts.

They're derivative. It's all been done before and in my opinion lacks anything to make it interesting. Younger people like them because they haven't heard that music yet. The fact that Brandano likes them so much is two strikes against them from the start.

The same people who gave you wearing 70's fashions in the 2000's (and now they're starting to adapt tacky 80's stuff ) gave you this band. I blame "I love the 70's/80's" on MTV

To be fair to Howard, interviewing rock bands is hit or miss, especially when the interviewer doesn't know anything about them.
