I am about to sit down and watch this. Any reviews?
Never read the book so I cant tell you.
i liked it ..but no one else did...he fucks people up without replacement...but it kinda has a biblical message...for what its worth..
It does sound interesting.
In a violent post-apocalyptic society, the drifter Eli has been wandering to west across North America for the last thirty years reading a unique book that he brings with him. He survives hunting small animals and seeking goods in destroyed houses and vehicles to trade in villages for water and supplies. When he reaches the village ruled by the powerful mobster Carnegie, the man offers a job to Eli to join his gang. Carnegie presses his blind lover Claudia to send her daughter Solara to convince Eli spending the night with him. The girl sees the book of Eli, and when Carnegie beats up on Claudia, she reveals that Eli has the sought book. Carnegie sends his gang to take the book from Eli, but the man is up for protecting the book with his life. Written by Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
It's as good a way to burn an hour and 45 minutes of your life as any.
It's got a kind of Spaghetti Western look to it. Stupid and predictable ...good villain.
I like these post-Apocaylptic movies.
If you're smoking dope it'll be even better. I wasn't and enjoyed it anyway.
fuck motherfucker thats the show....u sure u havent seen the bitch...also from sfn i found out dude was apparently blind the whole time...i guess god helped him see the ass he was kicking
What's a spoiler alert again?
No big thing for me.
It's kind of obvious.
I mean -didn't you guess it before the end of the film?
It wasn't a big secret.
Denzel is good but he isn't that great an actor.
fuck no...even the sunglasses i thought were for the bright sun..not cause he was a ronnie milsap...and how did he shoot the food at the beginning with no eyes...also i think it was you that told me he was blind
Damn, i still haven't got into the living room to watch this!
stop reading you know too much
I enjoyed the movie but there were holes in that plot you could drive a goddamned High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle through.
I had questions about several scenes in that ...the old couple? Never did figure that out.
Do you know if this was this based on a graphic novel/comic book?
good question..not really sure but i dont think so
I loved the movie by the way.
Could you tell he was blind on your own or did me & mattyfishrip blow it all up for you?
I loved the lead chick's blind mom ...she was hot.
Favorite part was at the old folks home.
What's his name -Gary Oldman? - killer villain wasn't he?
It was a good movie for what it is. Don't know if I'd watch a second time or buy the DVD, but not bad at all.
No Senator, I didn't know he was blind until that dude opened the braille book. I thought the Movie was good but it could have been great. If only they would have had a beginning. This movie seemed to start in the middle.
