Love Elvis! Cue the haters in 3 2 1....
Should have seen it in the 1st photo...but the blonde hair threw me
Such a cutie. Surprised by the blonde hair.
Elvis was blonde. He always dyed his hair black.
And made Priscilla dye hers the same.
He was a strange dude I have to say, a little too close to his momma for my taste.
While the end was pretty sad, you can do no better than to watch the sit down acoustic shows that formed the backbone of his 1968 tv special. Raw as it ever will get. Bears witness to a man fighting for his life.
Yeah, but one hell of a talent, Pooh.
I grew up knowing about Elvis only from the fat jokes and mockery. Once I was able to see the stuff from the 50s it became obvious to me why he was such a huge star, fucking great performer with the kind of charisma on stage you only see once in a generation.
Good stuff. I'm younger and love my 90's music but whenever I came across Elvis on the radio before Sirus, I would always stop and listen.
Oh I Love him! He's all over my Itunes...mostly his country stuff.
Same here. Couldn't agree more.
There are a few great documentaries about him....I'll watch them every time.
This guys range was phenomenal.
HE was the same age as my mom and she loved him,I remember the day he died very clearly!
Now that's kick ass..
My dad is about the same age as Elvis. He saw him in a 300 seat club in New Mexico in the mid-50s, just as Elvis was breaking out. He said the show was great, and even though my dad never became a huge fan, he always understood why Elvis was a phenomenon.
Elvis was the BEST ! and even at the end, that voice never failed him !
He was an odd chap. I heard he dressed like a rock star (before there were rock stars) in high school and used black shoe polish to die his hair. Imagine that. A kid back then that was that different would have been an outcast.
Even though I did it, I don't think I would've got it till the 6th pic.
