Movie was filmed using flashback sequences in a interesting way. About a teenager who can't get into school because the system deems him too dangerous. As a result, he hooks up with the wrong crowd and ends up back in jail. Inside, he has a hard time staying out of trouble when he gets into a bitter feud with another inmate. There's a love interest on the outside + family + a wise old inmate that provides motivation for him to do his time and get out. However, he faces a pride and right vs. wrong dilemma that causes conflict.

I could relate to a lot of things this kid went through, especially constantly trying to do the right thing in the face of a more exciting lifestyle and lack of options. Well acted all around. Even though it lists James Woods and Ving Rhames, they had small parts. The younger people were the real stars.

    The Brah rates this movie:

"Killer Elite" and "Harsh Times" are included in your top ten movies of all time. I think that says it all. You are still a brah though.

    The Brah reviews "Bad Grandpa"

Disappointing movie after gearing Howard's rave review when interviewing Johnny Knoxville. I had a couple of chuckles but the gags are really weak. If you are bed ridden and have nothing else to watch, check it out.
