His miracle is still making millions doing 2 shitty shows a week.
In a way he is responsible for the merger. He devalued the stock enough to make them ripe for a take over.
It was in such great shape that John C Malone was able to get 15% interest on a loan to Sirius and get 40% of the company for something like $12,500.
He acts like he led the chosen people out of Egypt and opened up the Rea Sea.
Howard is getting ridiculously high on himself.
That goose is wearing a wig!
SiriusXM had taken out all the bankruptcy paperwork and were just days away from filing when Malone risked his capital to bail out the company. Howard should be praising this guy because if bankruptcy had been filed Howard's contract could have been renegotiated down, ask GM and American Airlines workers how that worked out for them.
The miracle is that after a year of putting out some of the worst work of his carreer, he managed to rangle another $400 mil out of them to do 2-3 shows a week at a point when EVERYONE who was ever going to sign up to the service because of Howard has already done so.
It's as if a breaking down A-Rod renegotiated his contract after last years injury riddled .276 avg 16 hr 62 rbi season over the winter for an additional $30 mil a yr over the next 5 yrs
Great point...But let's not let facts get in the way of Howard's unadulterated greed........
All that money up front and all the ass kissing yes men ... tends to go to your head.
Look at Tom Cruise, dipshit believes he leads a religion
He called himself "Superman".....coming to save the day.
Hey... to some people, Bernie Madoff pulled some miracles too.
I guess the miracle Howard pulled was teaching a horse how to build a mom cave.
At that time when the stock was 5 cents a share and Howard could have put in $10 million it would be worth $450 million. Anyone who put their money where their mouth is and believed in the stock then when nobody else did would have made back their money 45x.
I don't think it's that. It's the career that has gone to his head. He thinks everything he spits is golden, and because his fanbase was slowly waning, he decided to have a bunch of zero-thinking mental patients to be his audience. Like Bobo, for instance. This gives Howard assurance that he's hot shit.
I'm not saying it's fact, but there are so many ways around this without bringing up the Emperor's New Clothes analogy.
I'm surprised Robin stuck by Howard on Tuesday. The whole time, I didn't figure she cared enough, she just kept quiet.
i think part of the problem is that they got howard at a bargain basement rate and THAT'S the reason he's suing. he knew he had nowhere else to go...he would never admit to that of course, so the lawsuit is a way to get back at sirius when all sirius was doing was acting in its' own self-interest.
I drove my car off the road when he was dismissing the 25 million he DID get for the merger as chump change. I could probably support the next five generations of my family with that kind of money. What a delusional asshole.
Howard sounded like a total sophomoric pussy discussing the lawsuit and business today. It really showed how stupid he is on some topics: sports, law and business.
