hey, let's get stoned...
featuring the always great Noah Fielding
Les Claypool and Sean Lennon? WTF?
I'm the patron saint of prescription drugs
Yeah, they are touring right now too. I like Claypool, but Lennon? Not so much.
I'm so out of the loop.
great floyd cover
My buddy was on their crew this tour, and said it was some of the best music he's ever been part of.
i never really listened to sean until a few years ago. he's pretty fuckin' good.
Pretty cool psych-rock. Never liked Lennon back in the late 90's but he sounds better these days.
Fucking kid don't even know the words to his old man's song.
It is great that he's doing straight up psychedelic music, always my favorite type, and it's what really put his dad over the top artistically.
I don't like the kid, and I'm sorry to see Claypool give him some street cred.
When you think about it, the kid should be a virtuoso; nothing to do but to make music all day, every day.
edit: I just watched the live version of "Tomorrow Never Knows". The kid's no virtuoso.
This is a musical pity-fuck.
Claypool is the reason I started playing bass. It's a damn shame he hasn't done anything worth a fuck since C2B3.
I watched their set at Bonnaroo, going into it with a really bad opinion of this 'project'.
Came away impressed. It was my type of shit. I dug it.
I really like Sean Lennon's Friendly Fire album. Wait For Me and Parachute are killer tracks imo. I like the Claypool Lennon project. Good new music is rare.
