... in honor of the film's 10-year anniversary.

Yes, I know it's a remake, but is this not a Top-10 all-time film? Can't rank it above "Goodfellas" or "The King of Comedy," but it's right in there. (Obvious who my favorite director is.)

All-star cast at their best, perfect soundtrack, electric intensity, scintillating storyline -- a true cinematic masterpiece.

I like when Vera Farmiga's butt pops out when Leo pulls her pants down.

That's how it happens, right? It's been a while since I saw the movie.

Fantastic movie. How he never got an Oscar for it blows my mind.

Plus this broad has something hot about her and the Van Morrison comfortably numb song is fucking phenomenal.

I thought it was good but not great the first watch. It is really rewatchable though and I enjoyed it more the second and third time.

    Who are you referring to?

    Nicholson, DiCaprio, Scorcese, or Damon?

    Even Mr. French!

    Tough call!

It's a great film, no doubt, but I think calling it top ten of all-time is a stretch. Personal opinions and all of that, but I don't think it's even the best Scorsese film of that era; I thought he should have won for "The Aviator". Of course he should have won for "Goodfellas" or "Raging Bull", too.

I love it, watch it every time I scroll down the directv guide and see that it's on. I also think it's got some of the most hammy, over-acted scenes of all times by Nicholson, Martin and Alex.

I had no idea The Departed was a remake.
