For there to be a HSS Forum, there has to be a HSS. Yet the HSS is no longer operating as the HSS. Rather, it is a fee-based form of ambient static mixed with repetitious noise mixed with the self-congratulatory sounds of millionaires coasting to an ignoble retirement. You get the picture.

its all good... i don't mind 99% of the shit posted here.. but if the public PM type threads don't stop... what the point of having The Bar and the HSS forums??

merge them... because that is what this has become

Good point, actually. It's like a real boring form of Reddit in some cases.

I've noticed a lot of old members are gone or post rarely in recent months.

i agree to a large extent, I've let more of the call out threads go this week since there hasn't been a Stern Show in a while and the last few weeks of shows generated little interest. When the show starts again Monday, I will clamp down on a lot of this and either move them to the bar or merge them with the Neg List depending on the posters. Most everyone gets that there is not enough Stern content to sustain the board so we have to allow off topic subjects, where to draw the line on that is the Catch 22. God forbid, a subject with political overtones, no matter how popular, is allowed because so many people can't just ignore it and hit alert like it was child porn. Putting those threads into the lightly used Politics forum leaves this forum with mostly pop culture type threads. I'm open to suggestions.

...i like pop culture (stern was once pop culture) i think its cool to share stories of interest to our group on all kinds of topics because we have so many smart people from so many different and sometimes the same walk of life. beths instagram and twitter give us lots of opportunities to discuss the hypocrite sellout bait and switch bastard. jmho.

I have no issue with them either, but there are those that alert and cry in PM's that there was a thread about Justin Beiber that they just couldn't ignore and posted in but want moved from the Stern board.

Beth threads are sometimes 50 percent of the HSS forum.

...are they volunteering to mod the board or just volunteering to tell you how to do it?
