U2’s The Edge falls off stage at Vancouver concert: ‘Didn’t see the edge, I’m ok!’ BY Kirthana Ramisetti NEW YORK DAILY NEWS Friday, May 15, 2015, 9:43 AM Kevin Mazur/WireImage U2 performs onstage during the group's tour opener in Vancouver on Thursday. Don’t worry U2 fans: The Edge is fine after stumbling off an actual edge. The guitarist unintendedly kicked off U2’s Innocence + Experience world tour in spectacular fashion by falling off the stage during the group’s Thursday night concert in Vancouver. The Edge’s fall was captured on video, which shows him taking a tumble after accidentally stepping off a walkway during the band’s final song, “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For.” While it seemed like the 53-year-old rocker had taken a steep fall, he assured fans via the band’s Instagram page that he wasn’t seriously injured. “Didn’t see the edge, I’m ok!!” he captioned a photo in which he showed off his bruised right arm. The Edge’s onstage tumble is notable since his bandmate Bono has only recently recovered from injuries sustained from a cycling accident in November, which has left him unable to play guitar on their current tour.
