    we are an insane animal. we populate the planet like mad and instead of thinking of ways to keep the human population at reasonable numbers (without mass killings or die offs), we keep thinking of ways to stretch the pie a bit further. i'm thinking it will bite us all in the ass someday. i'm glad i won't be around in 2050. supermega cities are not good environments for living creatures. :leaf:

    I am definitely going to watch. I've seen it lit up in different colors but I can't image how they are going to show images. Never have seen that. It should be very cool! :up:

    1)On a clear day you can see five states from the Empire State Building: New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Massachusetts.

    2)The Empire State Building is a lightning rod for the surrounding area. It is struck by lightning an average of 23 times per year.

    3) If you drop a penny off the Empire State building, you won't kill anyone. That is a myth.

    4)Static electricity gathers at high heights, and under the right atmospheric conditions, couples can experience a slight electric shock when they kiss.
