Thread rated, thread-starter negged.
You actually needed to ask why?
Sorry, it was a cover of an Archie comic from the 60s; thought it was funny considering the news story that they just added a gay character to Archie last month. Oh well, can't please everybody!
So you felt it necessary to make a thread covering a month-old story with a comic cover that has been flying around the Internet since the days of AOL CDs?
Damn, you sure know how to hurt a guy. Okay, I'm moving on...
I think it's because that cover/gag has been seen a thousand times already.
But, oddly enough, if you go to google images and type "archie beat off" an interesting image appears in the third row down.
I just googled the real cover.
Obviously it's silly to get butt hurt over a gay comic book wedding, but holy shit, how fucking "progressively" pathetic. It's not just a gay marriage...but an interracial gay marriage with a gay serviceman and a spiffy Negro with glasses!
That reminds me of the late 90s when all the kids cartoons had to make diversity a priority. There's was always a smart black kid, sassy tomboy chick and a "cool" crippled kid in a wheelchair who refused to let it limit him.
Also, I used to buy comics years back. The only people who still buy/read Archie comics are 55 year old fat dudes who look like they just got done discarding the remains of a naked six year old. Even the comic nerds would look at them like they're freaks.
