does this look anything like yours?

    Leftovers anyone?

As usual, the White House's Thanksgiving feast is pretty impressive: it includes classics like turkey and stuffing, "Let's Move"-friendly items such as braised winter greens and kale salad, and six kinds of pie.

    Here's the whole menu:

    Dinner:

    Thyme Roasted Turkey
    Garlic Jus and Cranberry-Orange Relish
    Honey-Baked Ham with Apricot-Mustard Glaze
    Prime Rib and Creamed Horseradish
Cornbread Stuffing with Chorizo and Roasted Peppers

    Oyster Stuffing
Braised Winter Greens (Collards, Kale, and Turnip Greens)
    Macaroni and Cheese
    Sweet Potato Gratin
    Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes
    Green Bean Casserole
    Fresh Greens
    Kale Caesar Salad

    Dessert:

    Banana Cream Pie
    Coconut Cream Pie
    Pumpkin Pie
    Apple Pie
    Cherry Pie
    Pecan Pie

Did they really need 6 different kinds of pies? I think a simple pumpkin would have sufficed. Such gluttony.

How do you make gratin from sweet potatoes? Sweet potatoes are delicious with no additional spices or butter. You gratin white potatoes because they're flavorless. Also, coconut and banana are not Tgiving pies. There should have been blueberry.

I did not do a squash this year. The in-laws are not a squash family so forget it. Sweet potatoes are better anyway. Squash is hard to peel and cut.

My dad cooked the turkey upside down and then was very confused when he tried to carve it. He also cut apples in half and placed them on top of the turkey when the turkey was cooking :wtf: :wtf:
