I love Wierd Al and just went on a youtube binge that sent me back to my youth. He is still doing parodies today, sadly i dont even recognize the songs he is poking fun at so i skipped a lot of those. I can remember seeing Wierd al in concert when i was like 7 or 8 years old at the county fair, When he played addicted to spuds he had giant dancing potatoes on stage.

I am thinking of starting a campaign to elect Wierd Al in the the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I would love to see a medley of his parodies performed by the original artists. It would fucking awesome, and at the same time poke fun at what a joke the Rock Hall is.

So for those of you whe are a fan of the man, sit back and enjoy some of these classics. If you are not a fan, well i am sorry for you.

Im gonna link to the actual vids (when available), which sucks because they have ads, but his vids are just as funny as the tunes so i think it is worth it!

Word Crimes is a good parody of Robin Thicke's song Blurred Lines

Shit that is awesome! I love how he gets so detailed on the topic at hand. All about the Pentiums is one of my favorites for that reason. So many classic references, again.... dude is awesome!

Killer motion graphics as well!

He was awesome on the gilbert podcast.

    uhf rules.

Was going to go down a notch if he would have modified 'word crimes' to not include the word 'spastic.' Some of my hippie liberal friends were going full-retard about that shit and how it's offensive to spastic people. Fuck off, all comedy offends someone. Pick your battles.

I remember on the Weird Al Behind the Music, Emo Philips was showing off his royalty check for UHF- it was 10 cents.

UHF is a great movie. I'm not sure if Stanley Spadousky was before the Kramer character in that movie. We used to get hammered and play guitars all night at my buddies house and we would put on UHF after. We would laugh our drunk asses off.

I loved UHF. I saw it in the theaters in the summer of 1989, and I still have it on DVD. This is my favorite scene:

I was watching some old Tim and Eric Awesome Show reruns I had on my DVR, and right in the middle of the episode, Weird Al pops up. Cool seeing him in there.

    This is a great song

I agree.....very clever & funny....all of his parodies are hilarious! Always like Weird Al !
I remember when this came out Howard goofed on it...said it sucked .....so did the crew only because they're not as talented AND Howard's jealous of Weird Al's HAIR!!! :punk:

I can't post the other 2 parodies that are sooooooooo funny.......to "Happy"...."Tacky" and he does a really clever funny "Aluminum Foil" to "ROYAL"

    check it out.

    thanks,
    peace & love

My daughter had never heard of Weird Al, so IK got tickets to see him when he played at the Hard Rock. He put on a great show and converted my daughter into a new fan.
