Would you go ?
How much would you pay ?
Not interested, That ship has sailed,
I don't know if I could handle all the Body odor and Tie dyed shirts
You go Ruffy and I will live vicariously.
Would not go. If I had free tickets, it would still depend on what else was going on that night.
John, Jackie, KC & Billy should do a Meet & Greet.
Now that, I would pay for.
I Vote Yesh!
How much would I pay to go to your fictional show in make-believe land? Um, 17 gumdrops. Final offer.
My office hours close at 10am
I'd go to see Artie.
I've seen Jackie 2x, one time second table from the stage at Club Bene. People that were supposed to be at the table next to the stage didn't show, so we had a direct heckle going on. Only took him about 10 minutes in, before he lashed out at us and threatened to throw us out. Good times.
I saw Stuttering John at the Stress Factory, I think. Florentine and Gas as the actual comedians.
Never saw Levy, and don't think I'm missing much, besides heckling enough to get him to confirm the wig rumors.
Also saw King Norris once in a now shuttered bar near here once. Pretty good. Place was asshole to elbow, and I was sad they shut down the pool table to squeeze more chairs in. Crap, I guess that was late 90's.
Once, my friend and I were drinking in New Brunswick, and we saw Artie was at the Stress Factory, so we stood in line to see if they had tickets left. When we got to the front, dude said no tickets yet, go back and stand in line again and we'll see if someone no shows. He wouldn't just take our names, so we said fuck it.
Next time I was there was to see Dave Attell. Had 4 tickets reserved. Assholes don't actually reserve seats, so my ex and I were split from the people we came with. We got seats next to a blown out speaker, that was popping and crackling instead of projecting the show. I lip read for a while, before losing interest and turning to alcohol. This was the final straw for me with that place. I also hear the owner sits in on open mic night, to steal jokes from noobs. Scumbag.
Would you see Shuli?
re-work into a story-telling hour with everyone telling the truth and I am in
