Damn, I was hoping it'd be some sort of futuristic force-field device or whatnot. :(

The only problem you have now though with that airbag-helmet is convincing guys who think they're too cool to wear a helmet to now wear a scarf. After all only a total fag wears a scarf.

.... although ironically he does wear a sort of helmet 24 hours a day.

That's really ingenious. Nice too see people are still inventing things that are actually practical, as opposed to focusing on develop apps and social media sites that do nothing but waste time and pump-up the egos of the unwashed masses.

If you are in need of a helmet, that would be the one you wanted just before impact. Lightweight and much better full head and neck coverage

Great idea. I want it to work so badly. I'm sick of losing good hair days to shitty helmet laws.

Unfortunately, it'll be impossible to avoid being pulled over for not wearing one. The white whale of the invisible helmet industry.

That neck cowell is pretty obvious once you know that's the helmet. You're right though, when they first roll out cops will be pulling over riders left and right

Man law says don't do it. I was trying to extend it to something more practical.

It's a local thing. I can't recall ever hitting my head when wiping out on a bike as a kid. That includes the time I hit a chuck hole in a field doing 40 on my kawasaki and endo'd. Flew through the air a good distance but I also rolled so I landed shoulder first and slid on my side.

In my state the law goes something like for people 15 and under, they must wear a helmet when not on private property. So, I guess if you're a farmer with land, your kid can legally ride his bike without a helmet to his heart's content but once he gets on the state dirt-road, he's in violation.

In any case, I know of no law for helmets on adults. But a lot of adults where them on their bikes. Which, btw, anyone notice that these hardcore cyclists seem to be the most annoying fucks out there? I'm not talking about casual guys but the ones who wear the outfit to make them look like the second coming of Lance Armstrong.

I mean, they drive somewhere to go cycling. Cycling to them is not about point a to b, but is some kind of. . . . I really don't know. They just like to ride and zoom in and out of traffic, I guess. Can't stand those guys.

Though I like riding my bicycle. I just can't stand the douche-cyclists.

there's laws here for adults to wear helmets but they are never enforced. they are basically just there so the police can stop someone who looks suspicious on a bike. that person will likely not be wearing a helmet.
