I was set to cancel my Sirius subscription until I came upon this site. Stern isn't getting any new listeners and I'm guessing a lot of his long-time listeners continue to listen to Stern's crap show so that they can appreciate the humor here on this board

I haven't listened in years, and even when I did I never paid for it. Sorry Charlie.

See I don't count having SiriusXM in a car a victory for Stern. I was one of the first 100k to get XM when it first came out and Got Sirius to try it out long before Stern. There are a lot of rural areas here and you cannot live without Satellite radio in your car. I listen to SiriusXM every single day but I haven't listened to Stern in months. I tried to hang in there I really did, I just couldn't take it any more :dontknow:

Not saying everybody is in my situation. The point was that over the past few years you knew that the Stern Show was peddling bullshit and there weren't many forums that gave the listeners the opportunity to call Stern out on his bullshit. How surprised were you when you first saw how fat and disgusting Robin was after listening to Stern rave about her on the air for years?

not a single person is listening to stern now over this site. 98% of the people that read that shit on RO is the people on this site that was directed to it from this site.

I know what you mean about hanging in there. But part of the fun in listening to Stern is to see just how low he can go and just how efficiently he can destroy his legacy

I guess marbles were more important than a legacy. Stern will retire a laughing stock, a very rich laughing stock.

True. But Stern will also retire knowing that there were legions of listeners who didn't buy his bullshit anymore. That's why he's so bent out of shape over social media

I moved from StL to a more rural part of MIssouri. One of the first things I did was get satellite radio reactivated in my truck. It's amazing how awful the radio choices get as soon as you get out of any metropolitan area.

Too late, once something is posted online it stays forever, even if the site is gone.

We have over 4 million posts on this forum alone :)

I enjoy the music and talk radio channels. I like you can listen to major news networks also.

As I get older I find I'm not as interested in music stations as much. I mostly listen to podcasts and talk radio.

If any site is promoting Howard it has to be the Saloon: all the posts here are by real people whereas those at SFN are probably made by spiders and other automated functions.

I only have one member. I've seen photos on the interwebs of guys with two, but never three or four. Boy, that would be Ralph the Berry Faced Fag's wet dream to end all wet dreams, wouldn't it?

My point is the people who post here are not even 1% of Howard's audience. Even if you had 50,000 people posting here and on SFN that would only be 5% if you assume he's got 1 million people listening to him. We sure as fuck know there are not 50,000 members between here and SFN.

I still get laughs out of it, just not as often. My knowledge pre '08 is the E! show, repeats, and YouTube. I just switch it off for Robin's news/political pontifications and interviews with bores I don't care about (too frequent). There is still the banter in-between. But admittedly if my work didn't have me doing something where I need something to listen to for a few hours, I wouldn't even subscribe to Sirius.

You forget, for every membership at Dawgs there are 5-10 others who use the account!
