Great flick - makes Gravity look like a grade school science project.
I got there a half hour ahead of time earlier today and it was sold out! I read the book twice and I'm really looking forward to it!
I read the book and it was phenomenal. I loved it. However, it did read as a book that was tailor made for being made into a movie.
I can't wait to see it on the big screen. Reading the book, I pictured it starring Marc Walberg, but Matt Damon looks good, too.
I really disliked Gravity. I saw it in 3D, and even that couldn't make it enjoyable. I was hoping that EVERYONE would die and float away in space.
I was so disappointed when Sandra Bullock washed up on shore.
I want to see this but 2 hrs and 22 min?? geezus F.... I have stuff to do.
Read it and listened to the audiobook, in high nerd fashion myself
I understand the movie won't be as Robinson Caruso in Space as the book was, but I can't wait to see it either way.
I think Isaac would approve.
I wanted an alligator to eat her in the final scene. That's an ending!
They are playing at the "4D" theater in my area, so it's 3D, and motion
Just saw it. ..glad Will Hunting made it out ok
Matt Damon is horrible though, let's be honest.
Saw it Friday. Excellent movie and Damon gives an outstanding performance. Worth putting up with the public to see it on the big screen.
The 2:22 goes by quickly, and I am happy to report I'm bed bug free.
Matt Damon is actually quite good in it... It's well done, although it played more like a fun puzzle than movie. Have a problem. Figure it out. Rinse. Repeat.
Both were good, but like most film adaptations, the movie glossed over some important stuff. But face it, rather than a movie, this could have been turned into a full semester chemistry class.
He's why I would hesitate to see it. Not a fan.
I hate going to movies and sitting through long movies. The whole family went. I enjoyed all 2 hours and 22 minutes, on a Saturday afternoon, when I normally watch hours of college football. I don't like Damon, but he gave a great performance. I will forever associate Jeff Daniels with Harry Dunne, and I think he kicked Jim Carrey's ass as a comedic performer in Dumb and Dumber. Every time Jeff Daniels' character was on screen as director of NASA, I kept wondering if we were going to get a scene like this:
Jeff Daniels did a great job, as did the rest of the cast. A lot of unknown (at least to me) actors who gave fine performances. I would expect this movie to win quite a few awards.
I saw it in 3D on Friday night because a friend wanted to go, it was very good.
