Who the fuck was confused about the No Country For Old Men ending? That was pretty straight forward.

Irish kid grows up under the wing of a mob boss. Becomes a state trooper to become a mole for the mob boss. Another Irish kid from the same neighborhood with some family social ties to the same mob boss. Kid #2 is a recruit in the academy of same agency. Gets approached before graduation the same way Eliot Ness went to the academy for untainted recruits in The Untouchables. They want him to infiltrate mob. Cops suspect a mob mole...mob suspects a cop mole. Kid #2 sees a shrink as part of his cover story as an ex-con...same shrink that Kid #1 met in the building where they both work and started banging. Cops hunt mob mole and mob hunts cop mole. Kid #2 starts banging the same shrink. There are more mob moles at the state police but they don't know of one another.

Kid #2 IDs Kid #1 as the mob mole and tries to arrest him...other cop friend from the academy that Kid#2 asked to show up is there but doesn't know his old academy friend (Kid #2) is really working for the police because he believes Kid #2's cover story about getting tossed from the academy and locked up and backs the mob mole cop instead of his friend. Another mob mole cop is on scene...kills Kid#2 and the other real cop...tells Kid #1 that he's also a mob mole...Kid #1 kills him to create a scene to explain all the bodies, close out the mole hunt, and maintain his cover. Meanwhile, the mob boss himself is also a police informant all along. Before he got killed, Kid#2 prepared a mailer to go out if he got killed...addressed to the shrink with a tape outing Kid#1 as the mob mole cop. Assistant HNIC at the PD who busted Kid#2's balls since they met finally realizes (or learns from the shrink) that Kid#1 is the mole and (probably) that he killed Kid #2 and goes vigilante...lies in wait in his apartment and kills him.

The totem wobbled. It didn't in what ever level of dreams they were in.
    Actors can't fly.
It never even crossed my mind that the batman ending was a dream.
    Never seen Barton fink.
    No country- completely straight forward.

I'm jealous... that's one of the few movies I'd like to watch in a theater.

Anyone who knows criminals knows they don't have the patience or persistence to go to a academy, graduate, do traffic duty for years, then become aware of anything useful to a mobster.

Thief infects girl w larva specimen - she is called to the Sampler w sound - larva surgically removed placed in pig - Pig tossed in river feeds the orchid collected by orchid mother - Sampler killed by girl as evil but this was wrong- the point being - I think- that there is a natural rythm to life and you can't blame those who helplessly coordinate it
