The most expensive home in the United States comes with a $195 million price tag, and beats out an 11-acre East Hampton estate as the priciest in the country.

The most expensive home on sale in the United States is the Palazzo di Amore in Beverly Hills. What does the most expensive home get you? A private quarter-mile driveway, security and staff, personal wine-producing vineyard, custom-made spa, stellar ocean views and more. Check out photos below of the impressive property.

For $195 million I could buy a really nice island in the Caribbean. And put a great house on it and hire servants. And still have $120 million in the bank.

That's some tacky shit for nearly a quarter of a billion dollars. Nice lap pool, view and olive trees though.

To be honest, I would not want to live in that mausoleum, even rent free. I would never feel at home living in a museum like that.

That's Jeff Greene's house. He is a self-made real estate investor who was worth about $500m before the financial crisis. Just prior to the crisis he was worried about a collapse in the real estate market and his buddy John Paulson told him about Credit Default Swaps. Paulson wanted him to invest in his fund, but Greene ended up just doing it on his own (pissing off Paulson in a big way.) Due to that trade his net worth is now around $3 billion.

Robin, who needs all that stuff? I only have 50 chimneys and a wing for the furry friends and we are fine with that, right Robin? Robin?
