Completely subjective list of course. The ones that I always watch and laugh.

    1. Monty Python: The Life of Brian (1979) 2. This is Spinal Tap (1984) 3. Caddyshack (1980) 4. Dr. Strangelove (1964)
    5. The 40 Year Old Virgin (2005) 6. The Bank Dick (1940) 7. The Gold Rush (1925) 8. Animal House (1980) 9. Anchorman (2004) 10. The Naked Gun (1988) 11. Groundhog Day (1993) 12. A Fish Called Wanda (1988) 13. Modern Times (1936)
    14. The Miracle of Morgan's Creek (1944) 15. Borat (2006) 16. Blazing Saddles (1974) 17. Monty Python: The Holy Grail (1975) 18. Raising Arizona (1987) 19. Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006) 20. Ted (2012) 21. Trading Places (1983) 22. City Lights (1931) 23. Airplane (1980) 24. The General (1926) 25. Bad Santa (2003) 26. Kingpin (1996)
    27. The Freshman (1925) 28. Office Space (1999) 29. Best in Show (2000) 30. The Jerk (1979)

What's wrong? What's right? What did I miss? Not a fan of the Marx Brothers or the Big Lebowski. I think Ferris Bueller is mediocore (but I do love Planes, Trains, & Automobiles) and Fletch is good, but not as good as these.

Fine list, I like 'Holy Grail" a bit better than "Life of Brian" (except for the fucking ending). "Ghostbusters" should be in there too.

The Jerk and Spinal Tap were the first things that came to mind when I read the title. The Big Lebowski too, even though it isn't on your list.

Nice list but not being a fan of the Marx Brothers films or The Big Lebowski?
I can't even begin to address this.

And I really think less of you as a person for disliking the Marx Brothers but finding humor in Talladega Nights.

Either or, both great. I love The Meaning of Life, too. Kind of disjointed and a few sketches not that great, but I love John Cleese as the schoolmaster teaching his students sex ed by fucking his wife in front of them and if you ever need something to beat off to, those topless girls in the bikinis and helmets chasing Graham Chapman will always do the trick.

I like Bill Murray & Rick Moranis in Ghostbusters, but think movie is only so-so.

You missed using bullet points for your list, but there are some funny movies in there in my opinion.

Some excellent stuff above, though. I mean- a Preston Sturges reference? That shows you have class & tatse.

Dumb and Dumber always makes me laugh, even though I have the entire movie memorized. There's Something About Mary too. The Farrelly Brothers were really great in the 90's.

Because he likes so much stuffI that I truly love I figure he's partially trolling us with the comments referenced above re: Marx Bros vs Talladenga Nights.
