Jason uses his iPhone to record video then posts to HowardStern.com for fans to enjoy. Dear god what happened to the show.

Howard seemed proud of Jason's achievement

He also said similar things about the future of HTV. Not the online part but that something was coming. Another slow build i guess :coffee:

"Robin, all the major networks were fighting over each other to get me to get the rights to the Birthday Show, but they wanted to be able to edit any way they wanted. I wanted to make sure my fans could see the Birthday Show unedited so we will be streaming it on HowardStern.com. Too bad none of the networks would allow me to broadcast it unedited because it would get bigger ratings than the Oscars or the Super Bowl."

this surprised me, I thought with all these platforms like Netflix AppleTV, HULU, etc someone would be bidding for his content. Either he really has become irrevalent or he wants to leave radio to do something else or do the show by ISDN line

It's good Back Office Radio was cancelled. I can't imagine Jason having time to record iPhone videos if he had a major distraction of a 1 hour weekly radio show.

But I know what my fans want to see so I'm cutting out all the parts of the show where people sing. That just slowed down me telling people I'm honored" over and over again.

The 5D costs $3,000 with a starter lens. Who the fuck is gonna pay that kinda money to promote this shit show? It sure ain't comin' outta the King of Old Media's clamped pockets. The guy won't even cough up 300.
