The new UFC game is a big improvement over the last one.

The controls are much more responsive and delicate and the fighters show damage a lot more. Lots more blood and contusions in this edition. The ground fighting seems simpler and you don't have to work a guy over for an hour before you can perform a submission. I still have a few minor gripes but I will save that for another time. They got enough right on this one that I don't feel like complaining.

Had some more time to play the UFC game. The fighting system is so deep it could take a long while to master but again, I am very happy with the upgrades. I was not a huge fan of past UFC games because I found the fighting to feel somewhat robotic. The responsiveness of the controls and some other fine tuning have made this latest edition feel vastly superior despite using much of the same controls.
