I know many here hate the entire show and everyone on it, but I still listen daily and admit that I used to look forward to the wrap up show sometimes more than the regular show. For those of you that listen you know that the show has changed dramatically! Howard said its gonna be more caller interactive and soon be all caller based. I used to enjoy Jon Hein's rundown of the days events, now they have some cheesy produced piece of audio that has highlights of the show. No more JD , Richard, Sal, Ronnie or Benjy. They also have these superfan celebrites that sit in and arent all that funny, NO more Gary either till the last segment. I think the show is beginning to be unlistenable and hope it goes back to the old format.

New Wrapping Up Show format is designed to kill the comarodity amongst staffers thus making it impossible for them to do their own show after the end of the year.

What you are seeing with the new Wrap Up Show is Howard dismantling the program one pipe, screw, and bolt at a time. Someone else posted that Howard is creating what is in essence a high priced podcast. The staff will be let go one at a time (Lisa G being the first). I look for Steve B and Jason Kaplan to be the next to find themselves "around." Howard will eventually start to do the ISDN line from FLA. After that you will see Howard dump H101 and then exclusively do pre-packaged interviews. The days of The Howard Stern Show are OVER.

What I don't understand is why wouldn't howard want shows on his channels to be successful? He could just retire and those shows would've or could've brought in money. Howard could have left his brand name on the channels like others have with sxm and collected a check.

Hein must worry that he's next on the hatchet list, the level of ass-kissing is unprecedented even for him. This week he said that people in the top levels of the music industry are influenced by Howard's opinions and they take notice when he praises an artist. WTF? If he's intentionally trying to sound like a delusional brain-washed sycophant he's doing a great job.

Yes, although after selling his website he's probably OK for money. I could see Sal and Richard being shown the door in the future.

The Howard Stern Show ended quite some ago, it just depends who you ask. I personally believe the show ended when Howard optioned Private Parts into a movie.

The Wrap Up Show used to be good because it was a spill over from the show and many of the on air fights and discussions were continued on the show and many times being more entertaining without Howard being the moderator.

Now it is just another PR vehicle for Howard. It is just finding different ways to pump up Howard.

It's about the rebrand and re writing history, thats the only measure of success to him. I also think he expected others to provide content for free or for very little money

Howard didn't even know Sam Smith had more than one hit. And he didn't know who the Black Keys were.
He is totally out of touch with music but he wants to be known as a great interviewer of musicians

After 2013 both shows went from awful to totally un-listenable.
