Howchie can't be happy with this!

    Olympics
    Conventions
    The Voice

The scheduling this year is the reason that AGT's ratings are down...the scheduling! People don't know where to find the show!

It sound like NBC is admitting the 30 million dollar move to Newark was a mistake.....it's a mistake....tell us general is it party time...if it is can we all come?

"Confident in the new season of the Voice" = no faith in the AGT slow build.

howard has a week & a half to run the propaganda machine on high.

unfortunately for him, it's going to spit out totally unbelievable horseshit.

:haha: Love this. Howard has got to feel like a schmuck. Why would he want to come back to failure? I can't see him being back next year, who would tell him it is a good idea to be on such a shit show?! So the question is, who speaks louder? Marbles or howard's ego?

I doubt NBC is gonna cough up anymore marbles, so if Howchie thinks he can raid the vault again he's in for a big let down.

At this point the only reason Howard would return the next season (that is if he is asked back) is his desire to not look like a primetime failure, or as others have put it, one of the losers of the summer

Man, this has got to really sting. This is a clear vote of no-confidence in AGT, coupled with the precipitous drop in ratings.....I don't know how he is going to spin this one, but Howard always finds a way.

I've read that Buchwald and Fred said the show was beneath him. I somehow missed this. I only saw Buchwald sauntering into the show with a shyt eating grin on his face and a bottle of champagne, and Fred kissing Howard's ass about the show.

    Could someone please elaborate?

I can't come up with actual 'evidence', but I seem to recall Fred saying something like that as Howard was mulling over AGT before the big announcement.

thanks.....I guess I didn't phrase the question properly....still can't....I was trying to find out if Howard said it in passing, or if it was a solid discussion with Fred speaking his mind....and becoming a debate.

I remember it being more of an offhand comment from Fred. I don't remember it becoming a real issue. Howard knew at the time that he was going to sign with AGT, so I am guessing he didn't want to continue down that road. I thought he brushed it off and moved forward.
