Benjamin Crump, attorneys hold presser about Terence Crutcher, Tulsa Pol... via @YouTube
Yep that's manslaughter. Tough to get murder to stick for a cop.
Any info on Terrance's criminal record or was he another innocent guy just about to start college.
Manslaughter at most
Blame dumb progressive policies for having women be cops and holding guns
If that guy would have just obeyed simple instructions he would be alive.
Window up or down makes no difference. He was gesturing toward the car window and a split second decision was made
he was a 40 y/o preacher/ he was attending community college...did they sprinkle pcp in his vehicle
According to his family, he was reading a book. Reading a book!
yet another coward who claims to be a Super American yet doesn't understand what America is about.
Go live in Saudi Arabia you ball less pussy.
With so much video evidence, its odd that they had to have this press conference.
The truth will come out, seems like they are trying to deflect his non-compliance.
I agree he should have obeyed. And I question how did it escalate to the point that a chopper was brought in. The chopper pilot sounded racist IMO. "He looks like a really bad guy" why? Because he's a big black man?
But how many drunk disobedient people have you seen that the cops take down without shooting. He should have been tasered prior to him walking to the car. Are cops afraid to tackle someone now? It appears that in many cases their first response is to shoot. Are they too small. Maybe we need to change the regs around.
I'm pro cop and I rarely side in the victim.
That attorney Benjamin Crump is always on Fox News. He was Trayvon Martin's family attorney and I think Michael Brown's family attorney. I'm sure the guy is smart but he comes across as a Bubba from Forest Gump type. Plus you can tell he gets frustrated when hosts bring up facts he doesn't like.
Host will bring up that the black "victim" robbed a store or punched a guy or pulled a gun:
Benjamin Crump: "But that don't matter. What matters is we have a young man that lost his life"
Ben Crump is making quite a career for himself, he seems to represent all the wrongful black deaths by police. He found a nice little niche.
The guy didn't deserve to die even if he wasn't complying...however not complying puts yourself at risk. Did the cop screw up? It appears so, but the cop is being held to a different standard because the suspect is black as if the cop must prove if was a mistake rather than intentionally wanting to kill the suspect because he was black. Had this been a white victim there would be little to no press coverage, especially national press coverage. In any other jobs an employee's mistake doesn't put them at risk of being killed or accidentally killing another.
likely no charges will stick
but this officer may be a bit too jittery to be a police officer
maybe a less dangerous and stressful line of work would be better suited for the officer
not everyone is cut out for every job---and that's ok
and it always amazes me that these medium sized cities
Tulsa has 400000 people
and they got a police helicopter
these police forces know how to get their toys

Oh shit the shooter was white AND a WOMAN!?!?!
Well this is a bit different. Will the media be a bit less aggressive when it comes to demonizing a white cop, if it is not a man!?!? Don't want to come off as mysogonist!
Yea, and maybe if he keeps at it he might actually win sometime.
Over 500 dead in Chicago this year, you don't give a fuck about any of them.
