6000 years old, with stars in it that are 16 billion years old. doesn't that answer your question?

I don't really believe science yet and what they say about how long things have been around. They have yet to get samples and prove 100% that the sun isn't made of molten nacho chesse. :fil:

I just posted this in another thread, but it is worth repeating.

Evolution is based on the survival of the "fittest".

Dan is walking proof that discredits survival of the "fittest".

if he were placed in a more primitive setting, he'd be too slow and lumbering to hunt and gather. He'd be a goner.

I think what he is saying is that modern medicine and technology has allowed more and more useless people survive into old age.

I say his brain stopped evolving and it replicates that of more primal beings that are only bent on consuming food, except he doesnt stop when he is full. He keeps on eating. However, if he had to actually hunt for his food, he'd be too dimwitted, slow and stupid to catch it and he'd starve and die.

    Human intervention on natural selection.
We may still be evolving but not based on fitness to a natural environment.
