All my idea!!!!!! while talking to her about her relationship to Donny Walberg.....I thought the story was that the Hoof put pressure on the Wig to get married due to the doorman not giving her respect.

He gave her the Pretty Woman experience. (Does her realize what that implies?)

I honestly think Wiggy likes the idea of Beef having been a prostitute (allegedly) because in his twisted mind, that means LOTS of men wanted her. "Robin, Beef is so hawt. Men PAID her for sex!". Despite this, he's picked up on that this won't be seen as a positive thing by the general public over the years and changed course. Now she's a Lady of the Manor, but for a while, he loved parading her around and talking about her like a prize hog. In the beginning, Wiggy characterized her as little more than a pretty face ( gag ) and hyper sexual. I think he always wanted her be a good half of a "power couple", but I think he believed billing her as just The Most Gorgeous Sex Kitten on the Planet would have been enough to deem her a "somebody". And other than creating a faux modeling history for her, he really didn't have to do much else. Big mistake.

I find women like Beef gross and "men" like Wiggy even more vile. OF COURSE I want my man to think I'm beautiful and desirable, but not parade me around like a farm animal. It's demeaning and not a compliment and says a lot about how much he really values you as a human being.

While I have no doubt Beffy pressured him to get married, I do believe that Howie's story didn't involve her pressuring him because of the doorman. He's been pretty consistent with his story that he decided to get married and used the doorman story to validate his reasoning.

Wasn't Wigward just protecting his marbles? He didn't want out of the relationship but there are some New York laws where you become married under the law if you have lived together for a certain amount of time?

I remember Howard mentioned this one time and said that he looked into it and Artie laughed and replied..... "Yeah, I bet you have!"
