    My top five:
    1.The Wire
    2. The Sopranos
    3. Breaking Bad
    4. Deadwood
    5. Game of Thrones

Mad Men, Rome, Deadwood, and Six Feet Under are all great, too!

Yo Flunkee, greatest ever? Ever hear of M.A.S.H, Seinfeld, Bob Newhart show, Mary Tyler Moore show, Hill Street Blues, Honeymooners, All In the Family, Sopranos, NYPD Blue, Cheers, The Twilight Zone, Star Trek, Taxi, Taxi Cab Confessions (couldn't resist), etc., etc., etc. I do believe that Gary is the greatest producer of all time though

The Wire is considered by most TV critics as the best TV drama ever, or at least of the past decade..

    That's why God invented closed-captioning.

MASH, Newhart, Marty Tyler Moore, All in the Family, Cheers, haven't aged well.

The Wire is widely considered to be superior to The Sopranos.

The Sopranos had too many shitty seasons.

...the fugitive with david janson was a huge hit in the 60s. it set records for final episode viewers but deadwood breaking bad, the usual suspects mentioned are all good. the wire was damn good, if you missed any of it you missed a lot of it. it was that good. the wire is actually based on a film equally as good called "the corner" with many of the same actors.

I'm a pretty young guy i still feel All in The Family is fucking hilarious always hated MASH. Cheers has its moments but never really got into it. I'll agree somewhat with booey on this I def think the Wire is the greatest American crime drama in history
