No shit. My wife's family is from there and they put heavy cream on everything. They really know how to ruin good food, they do.

I just found out that Canada surrendered to Germany late in WWII and it got very little media coverage.

Heavy cream is good stuff. Picks up all the flavors.

I'm from Canada and never got the whole politeness thing. I deal with complete assholes everyday and always thought people seemed just as nice (or possibly nicer) when I go anywhere in America.

I watched the Canadian Amazing Race - pretty good show actually. This halfrican actress and her sister were always wearing tight little outfits and the Jet and Dave duo were hilarious.

Farm team. Drafted by a Canadian team, traded to an East coast American team. Blew out my knee in my early 20's. Yeah I played 2 games in NHL and just before being called up to take an injured mans spot for good......hopefully, I twisted(destroyed) my knee into the boards on a hit and never played again. It was teletubbie concerts after that. DList and others will get that haha.

Edit. My blade got caught in the Zamboni door slit. A bad twist followed.

Gravy on fries is just weird. I went to a taco bell in Windsor once and got some meal that had "nachos" as part of it....the "nachos" were french fries with nacho toppings on it.

I think fries without gravy is weird. I guess it all depends on what you grew up with. although I'll never accept mayonnaise on fries. fuck you, dutch people

-I think I vaguely remember that Hamster one. I definitely watched a lot of this as a kid, along with Mr. Dress Up. I'll take Mr. Dress Up over that weirdo Mr Rogers anyday.
