    Brining sucks into the meat all the flavor a you out into the brine. It also prevents the bird from drying out.

    There's no way to explain it. Search the Internet for a recipe and try it. It truly will change your life

    Pretty much any commercially sold turkey sold today has been brined already.

    I'm usually pretty selective with what I eat. Zero fast food, minimal processed foods, not a ton of red meat, no soda...
    Every now and again I'll feel like a rotisserie chicken, and I'm a little embarrassed to admit that for 4.99 with my shopper card, it's pretty tough to beat what I can pick up from the deli counter at my grocery store. It would cost close to that to buy a raw one, and for the time and effort saved, fuck it. For what it's worth, I don't think I've ever bought one that wasn't tender, juicy, and delicious...hard to fuck up a chicken when someone's paying careful attention and those places usually have a full -time chicken minder!

    * yeah, I know it's not as tasty as doing it like OP, but sometimes convenience wins out.
