Needs a bag of flour and a deep fryer!
Looks good, Jewlican! What are you doing with that bad boy tomorrow? Grill? Oven?
Brining chicken changed my life!
You're a wild man!
Try brining a turkey, it will change your universe!
What does the brining process do? Add a salty flavor to the chicken?
Oh nay nay... No saltiness at all
Brining sucks into the meat all the flavor a you out into the brine. It also prevents the bird from drying out.
There's no way to explain it. Search the Internet for a recipe and try it. It truly will change your life
Pretty much any commercially sold turkey sold today has been brined already.
That's called a spatcock, I think
Have yall niggaz never heard of Steven raichlen?
Brining saves pork chops as well.
www.seriouseats.com upped my food game big time.
Screw bringing... spatchcock season and you'll be good to go.
I'm usually pretty selective with what I eat. Zero fast food, minimal processed foods, not a ton of red meat, no soda...
Every now and again I'll feel like a rotisserie chicken, and I'm a little embarrassed to admit that for 4.99 with my shopper card, it's pretty tough to beat what I can pick up from the deli counter at my grocery store. It would cost close to that to buy a raw one, and for the time and effort saved, fuck it. For what it's worth, I don't think I've ever bought one that wasn't tender, juicy, and delicious...hard to fuck up a chicken when someone's paying careful attention and those places usually have a full -time chicken minder!
* yeah, I know it's not as tasty as doing it like OP, but sometimes convenience wins out.
I shall do this.
