so I'm sleeping away... Then, all of a sudden, I'm jolted awake by a sensation that I'm not breathing... ... To find out that I'm not breathing. I can't seem to inhale, so I exhale as much as I can. That seems to free something up enough that I can start to inhale a little... Then a little more... Then a little more. When I can finally manage to get a lung full of air, it's as if there were some acidic vomit that's made it down my windpipe. I'm able to cough that free and then resume normal breathing... Happened to me once a couple years ago, but it's been happening about once a quarter now... Dr says nothing to it, just a bit of reflux... Wtf?
